Whole world is now suffering from corona virus. We have seen number of deaths in many countries like China, Italy, Spain, Iran, USA, France, UK and the count is still increasing. As we all know, there is no medicine till date to prevent us from this deadly virus. So a question is arising in most of the minds i.e. how we can fight against this virus? The human's body immune system is one of the best answer for this question.
Here are some of the tips which can help you to boost your immunity:
First of all, you have to shun your bad habits. It includes:
1. Smoking
2. Consumption of alcohol
3. Tobacco
4. Any kind of drugs
Secondly, you should adopt some good habits like:
1. A good sleep
2. Morning walk
3. Yoga (related to breathing exercises)
4. Eat good
5. Always spare time for yourself and for your family to reduce your stress level
Vegetables and Fruits: Good food is the necessity of the hour. You should eat all the vegetables and fruits available in your area without saying 'NO'.
Preferably you should take fruits rich in Vitamin C like Oranges, Lemon, Pineapple, Kiwi.
Water: Water plays an important role in our body. Here are some suggestions which you should follow to avoid corona virus:
1. Don't drink cold water rather take warm water
a). it will soothe you throat
b). it will relieves nasal congestion
2. Do Gargles regularly(4-5 daily) with warm water by adding some salt in it.
Turmeric (Haldi): Almost every Indian use Haldi in their meals because they know the benefit of it. So, I'll also suggest you to use Haldi in your daily meals and if you are not used to it then you can take it with water or milk. Turmeric has lipopolysaccharides, which is quite popular for its anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties.
Ginger (Adrak): Ginger has the ability to take care of your respiratory health. You can take ginger with honey too for doubling its health benefits. It is used as a treatment for cold and flu. It reduces the risk of cough, pneumonia, asthma. Ginger Tea is also an alternative to avoid cough and flu.
Holy Basil (Tulsi): There are many benefits of Tulsi. In India, it is worshiped and believed as a holy plant. You can chew the leaves of Tulsi and in return it will relieve you from fever, sore throat, cough, cold, flu and headache. Taking tea with Tulsi leaves is the best way to consume it.
Indian Gooseberry (Amla): Amla is rich in vitamin C, iron and calcium. It improves immunity, aids digestion, increases the health of nervous system, protects the body against infections, cure diabetes, protects liver, eliminates toxins and increases body metabolism.
Garlic: Garlic is a powerful antibiotic and mostly used to make the food tasty but it has a lot of benefits too. It reduces blood pressure, improves cholesterol levels, kills parasites, provides relief from asthma and reduces the risk of lung cancer.
Broccoli: Broccoli has doubled the Vitamin C as compared to the oranges so Broccoli is also suggested as a good eatable to keep cold at a bay. Leaving Vitamin C aside, it is also a good source of almost all the vitamins like vitamin A, B, E and K including folic acid. It is regarded as one of the best vegetable you can put on your table.
Panjeeri/Sundh: Panjeeri is quite popular name in Punjab and people of Jammu call it as 'Sundh'. It has different names in different regions. It is made with whole wheat flour fried in ghee, sugar, dry fruits and semolina. Because of heavy loaded dry fruits, it is eaten in winters to keep common cold away.
